A Chinese blue and white Kraak dish, Wanli
painted in the interior with a medallion enclosing fish swimming in a lotus pond framed by a ruyi band, the rim decorated with six quatrefoil cartouches enclosing flower sprays on cash, scale, honeycomb and basket-weave ground, the reverse painted with the Three Friends beneath a band with four prunus sprigs, a Moon Hare mark to the base -- 13 11/16 in. (34.7 cm.) diam.
