the cover with central roundel carved with a chun (spring) character incorporating a medallion of Shoulao atop, rays rising from a basket of auspicious objects and flanked by two dragons, the shoulder with four panels depicting various flowersprays and rockwork, the sides of the box with further floral panels -- 10 1/8in. (25.7cm.) diam.
