A Chinese cinnebar lacquer circular box and cover
carved in relief to either side with butterflies in flight amongst peonies -- 2in. (5cm.) diam; a further box and domed cover decorated with a boy in a rocky tree strewn landscape, the underside with scrolling flowers -- 2in. (7cm.) diam; and a Satsuma kogo and flattened cover, painted and gilt with four rakan seated on a riverbank -- 3in. (8.3cm.) diam, signed, all 19th Century. (3)
