A Chinese Export brown lacquer games box
and cover, of rectangular form with canted corners standing on four mythical beast feet, decorated in red lacquer and gilt with a chinoiserie garden scene, the lid opening to reveal boxes and trays similarly decorated in gilt, the boxes containing mother of pearl counters -- 15in. (38.1cm.), 19th Century.
