early 19th Century
and cover, decorated with a seated female musician within a central cartouche surrounded by pagodas, pine and mountainous landscapes within a rectangular panel within a wide speckled border, the interior with two fitted boxes and covers, two further various lacquer boxes and covers and a wooden hinged box and cover, containing a large quantity of mother of pearl counters -- 14 1/8in. (36cm.) wide.
