A Chinese export lacquer games box and hinged cover
of rectangular shape, decorated with figures in a garden scene surrounded by a river setting within a geometric design border, the sides with similar decoration, the interior with seven compartments containing playing cards, mother-of-pearl counters and an ivory bowl, including key -- 123/8in. (31.4cm.) wide, 19th Century, (minor splits and restoration).
