A Chinese export tea caddy and hinged cover
of rectangular shape with inverted corners, decorated with panels of figures in landscapes and garden scenes within flowering borders, on mythical bat feet, the interior with two compartments containing pewter liners and covers, including key -- 9½in. (24.2cm.) wide, 19th Century, (minor restoration).
