A Chinese famille rose punchpot and cover, 18th century
decorated in coloured enamels with panels of scattered flowersprays with scrolling gilt borders and with interspersed iron-red cross hatch designs and pink enamelled square key-fret motifs, the spout and handle covered in an iron-red ground with moulded gilt embellishments, the cover with fruiting peach spray finial -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high.
