The "Dame au parasol" pattern, one of four commissioned from the Amsterdam artist Cornelis Pronk by the V.O.C., was sent out to Canton in 1736 and painted on tea and dinner services shipped to the Netherlands in 1737 and 38. Pronk's 1734 watercolor design survives in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. See C.J.A. Jorg, Catalogue, Pronk Porcelain, pp. 32-34.
