A CHINESE REVERSE-PAINTED AND GILT GLASS PICTURE
Depicting a Chinese interior with three ornately-dressed ladies and an old bearded man in a hat, gathered round a wash-basin, in the background is a view through a window with a bonzai tree and a flowering plant on the ledge, and a large bed covered in exotic gold- embroidered fabric, with a later giltwood frame with floral and ribbon-twist bands, inscribed in pencil to the reverse 'Lake House'
