19th and 20th Century
carved seated in dhyana asana, wearing flowing robes open at the chest revealing a swastika symbol, with serene expression and tightly curled hair, on a double-lotus petal base -- 10in. (25.4cm.) high; a wood model of a monk, carved with arms folded under the robes, standing wearing long flowing robes on a rocky base -- 11 3/8in. (29cm.) high; and a wood figure of a seated deity, carved wearing long flowing robes with hood, holding a closed scroll -- 8¼in. (21cm.) high, (minor splits and restoration).
