A cinnabar lacquer stem-cup
Qianlong sealmark and of the period
the cup with slightly flaring rim deeply carved with two dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst waves between bands of lappets, the cylindrical shaped spreading foot carved with finger citrons amongst foliage below a key-fret band, the gilt-copper underside with impressed four-character Qianlong sealmark -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, (minor nicks).
