A jar of nearly identical proportions was recovered from the major kiln site of Guantai in southern Hebei province from a stratum dating to the first half of the 12th century, and is illustrated in Guantai Cizhou Yaozhi, Beijing 1997, pl. LI, no. 6 and p. 220, fig. 94:9. Another similar jar, said to have been found at Qinghexian, is illustrated by N. Palmgren, Sung Sherds, Stockholm, 1963, p. 230, fig. 12.
