A CLOISONNE ENAMELLED AND GILT BRONZE STUPA, 18TH CENTURY
the globular shrine decorated in coloured enamels with stylised scrolling lotus blossoms and leafy stems on a turquoise ground, with a gilded model of Amitayus Buddha to the interior behind an ogee formed glass panel, surmounted by eight gilded ribs or Buddha umbrellas on a tapering plinth, raised on a lotus base raised on a square support -- 15¾in. (40cm.) high.
