19th Century, Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki.
of globular form, decorated in gold and silver wire and various coloured enamels with a band of oval panels of ho-o and butterflies amongst flowers between further bands of stylised geometric designs, the cover with chrysanthemums blooms and chrysanthemum formed finial, gilt rims -- 3 7/8in. (9.8cm.) high, (very minor wear).
