commemorating Prince Alfred's return from a cruise, printed with a full-length portrait of the Prince, titled below, standing on the quayside flanked by tropical trees and plants with his ship the Euryalus in the background, below a ribbon cartouche titled WELCOME, within a border of acorns issuing swags of rope and anchors, printed and impressed marks, circa 1861 (a hairline crack to the reverse of the rim, some minute flat chips and discolouration to glaze) -- 24cm. wide
