    As a monument, the bust truncated at the shoulder, wearing a wig and collar, the socle set within a wreath, on square pedestal, a winged putto seated below in the process of inscribing a medallion suspended from a garland with the inscription JAC. WILLEMSEM PROF & PRED MIDDELBURG GEB. 22. JULY 1698, the open Bible at his feet inscribed Psalm at the head of the left page and with the date 84.y.6 on the left
