A CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON

circa mid 4th-early 3rd century b.c.
Dark blue in color, the straight-sided cylindrical body with rounded bottom, angled shoulders, a cylindrical neck and horizontal rim disk, the body with opaque yellow, opaque white and opaque turquoise marvered threads wound spirally and tooled into a widely spaced inverted festoon pattern, with a yellow thread at the edge of the rim, and twin dark blue un-piereced handles below the shoulders
