A CYPRIOT BICHROME WARE JUG
CYPRO-ARCHAIC, 750-475 B.C.
The spherical body with ring base and pinched spout, decorated with multiple overlapping vertical and horizontal concentric circles, crossed motif below the spout, 7½ in. (19.1 cm.) high; a similar ware jar, with wide neck and vertical handles, on small foot, decorated with encircling bands, wavy line around the neck, 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) high; and two Wheelmade White Painted Ware dishes, with twin loop handles and decorated with concentric bands and latticed triangles and lozenges on the base, one repaired, 8 1/8 in. (20.6 cm.) and 10 3/8 in. (26.3 cm.) diam. respectively, all Cypro-Geometric, 1050-750 B.C. (4)
