A DAVENPORT STONE CHINA IMARI-PATTERN PART DINNER-SERVICE, painted in iron-red, green, underglaze blue and enriched in gilding with stylised peony-sprays, the borders with trailing foliage issuing from shaped iron-red panels within waved lustred rims, comprising a soup-tureen, cover and stand (one handle restored), three shaped rectangular vegetable-dishes and covers (one finial riveted), a shaped rectangular two-handled salad-bowl, a sauce-tureen, cover and stand, two sauce-boats and stands, four shaped oval serving-dishes in three sizes and a pierced oval dish, two deep dishes in sizes, eleven soup-plates, twenty-six dinner-plates, seven dessert-plates (three cracked, one stained), three side-plates, printed anchor and ribbon marks, pattern no. 58, circa 1830
