A Deruta lustre two-handled baluster vase
Circa 1530
The upper part lustred in gold with stylised scrolling foliage on a blue ground between bands of foliage and dot ornament, the lower part with spiral gadroons and concentric bands on a circular spreading foot with radiating flowers and stiff leaves (two short cracks to rim, some minor chipping and flaking to rims and handles, small restored area to rim near one handle, broken through top of foot and restored)
