    A detailed board room 1:100 scale display model of the cargo ship Wavecrest built by Forges et Chantiers de la Mediterranee for the Newcrest Shipping Co. Ltd
    modelled by Jaques Robinet with anchors, fairleads, bollards, anchor winches, ventilators, hatch covers, derricks with rigging, deck rails, companionways, forward superstructure with glazed bridge, open bridge with binnacle over, communications mast, awnings and navigation lamps, deck winches, aft superstructure with awnings, engine room lights, exhaust stack in company livery, two life boats in davits and other details. The hull with rudder, single four blade brass propeller and bilge keels, is finished in red, green and black and mounted on two turned brass columns on display base with legend and makers plate with metal bound glazed cover (one pane cracked). Measurements overall -- 21½ x 65½in. (54.5 x 166.5cm.)
