The glazed, stepped rectangular top with overlapping stiff leaf cornice, with arched glazed panels to the sides with triangular pediment mounts above and flanked by amphoras, with lanceolate leaf cast arch terminating in Apollo masks above the dial, stylized branch and dragon spandrels, with torchère mounts trailing bell-flowers flanking the glazed panel below, on stepped base with fluted gallery, the white enamel dial inscribed à Paris with pierced gilt-metal criss-cross hands and blued steel pointer for the inside calendar ring, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell
