the body of bulbous form with slender flaring neck, decorated to the body in enamels with bats inflight amongst vibrantly coloured scrolling clouds, the ribbed shoulder with alternating gilt Shou characters and scrolling lotus flowers, the rim with ruyi-head border -- 15½in. (39.4cm.) high.
