A FAMILLE ROSE 'EIGHT IMMORTALS' BALUSTER VASE
Finely and colourfully enamelled in delicate pastel tones with each of the eight immortals depicted holding their attributes, some astride fierce-looking lions, including a gnarled staff suspending a scroll, surrounded by attendants bearing offerings including the peach of longevity, a flower basket, pomegranate, finger-citrus and incense, below cloud swirls enclosing a crane and bats in flight, base ground down; Chinese Porcelain and Hard Stones by Edgar Gorer and J.F.
