A famille rose 'millefleurs' bowl, 19th Century
with flaring rounded sides, supported on a short foot, enamelled with a profusion of floral blossoms including peony, chrysanthemum, rose, hydrangea, aster, pink, iris, cherry and narcissus, all reserved on a gilt ground, gilt Shen de tang zhi ('Made for the Hall for the Cultivation of Virtue') mark -- 4 1/8in. (10.4cm.) diam.
