A famille rose tapering square vase
painted and gilt with panels of Guanyin and boy attendant in a garden and peony sprays issuing from pierced rockwork, within iron red borders reserved in gilt with prunus and cracked ice design -- 10¼in. (26cms) high; a famille rose teapot and cover with sprays of peonies and prunus blossom -- 4¼in. (10.8cms) high; a famille rose ewer with flaring neck decorated with butterflies in flight -- 41/8in. (10.5cms) high; a teapot and cover with a warrior and dignitary alternating with calligraphy -- 3¼in. (8.2cms) high; a plate painted in the Kakiemon palette with birds amongst flower sprays within a prunus and bamboo border -- 8¼in. (21cms) diam; and a clobbered bowl painted in underglaze blue and iron red with phoenix and flowersprays -- 5½in. (14cms0 diam, 18th and 19th centuries.
