A famille verte octagonal baluster vase and cover, Kangxi (1662-1722) each facet decorated with butterflies and flowering sprays growing amidst rockwork including tree peony, chrysanthemum and prunus, below the rim with floral sprays, the domed conforming cover with a pearl finial, decorated with auspicious emblems on the rim below butterflies and floral sprays on the facets -- 12 7/8in. (30.1cm.) high.
