    The brass flame finial above a circular glazed dial door with brass bezel enclosing a white-painted dial with a Roman numeral chapter ring signed "A. Willard/Boston" over a tapering throat with conforming brown and white gilt-decorated glomis panel with scrolling flourish surrounded by spiral beading flanked by brass openwork scrolled spandrels above a rectangular box base decorated with a horse-drawn carriage within a country scene on an glomis door over spherules and a fluted bracket above an acorn drop pendant
