A FINE 28-BORE BRASS-BARRELLED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOL

With swamped sighted barrel in three stages separated by mouldings and engraved with strawberry foliage at the breech, iron tang secured by two screws and engraved en suite, rounded brass lock-plate engraved with foliage and a monster-head, rounded cock decorated with strawberry foliage, moulded finely figured maple full stock (repaired) with raised apron at the barrel tang, brass mounts engraved with strawberry foliage, pierced serpentine side-plate, spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap, escutcheon with grotesque mask above, baluster ramrod-pipes, and brass-capped ramrod (iron parts with some surface pitting), London proof marks
