A FINE DECORATED LARGE STEEL WHEELOCK POWDER HORN
Of triangular form the powder flask wrapped in red felt is encased with two steel panels (traces of gilt remain) chased with the scenes of Minerva, surrounded by florals and putti with scrolling ribands; the other side with an elaborate battle scene. Both panels with roped border decoration, and four grotesque face ring hangers. The spout with embellished in a spiral form with crown motif to head of stopper. With old collection tag.
