A fine embroidered picture, unfinished, worked with an urn of flowers, with animals and insects in coloured silks against an ivory tent stitch ground, the urn unfinished, pinned with papers indicating colours to be used, 17th century--40cm x 33cm, in black lacquered frame, the reverse with type-written paper label '...From the late Viscountess Wolseley's collection. Circa 1685-1689.'
