A fine German teddy bear
with light golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads and hump, 1910s-20s --23½in. (59.5cm.) high (pads repaired at wrists, pads thinning and very slight general wear)

This bear is known as Matt, when he was purchased the vendor was told that he had been wrapped up in a ladies wardrobe for many years.
