qianlong seal mark and of the period (1736-1795)
The short cylindrical neck flanked by scroll handles, each side painted around a central boss in strong blue tones with a stylised flower-head surrounded by key-pattern and lappet bands within radiating larger petal panels containing the Eight Precious Objects, bajixiang within a key-pattern border, the flat sides painted with a narrow band of scrolling lotus, the neck and foot painted with a lingzhi-scroll and a key-pattern band around the rim, neck restored
