The Boss patent single-triggers with rolled-edge triggerguards, hold-open toplevers, the lockplates inset with gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, best bouquet and scroll engraving with virtually full hardening-colour (renewed), boldly-figured stocks with semi-pistolgrips, the 'ribless' barrels with breech flats
Weight 6lb. 4oz., 14 5/8in. stocks, 28in. barrels, choke approx. ¼ & 3/8 (No. 1) and I.C. both (No. 2), 2½in. chambers, nitro reproof (No. 1 over barrel-thickness below recommended minimum)

The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed in 1912 and that they were built to a very unusual light weight of 6lb. 3oz.
