A FINE PALE CELADON JADE 'MARRIAGE' BOWL
qianlong (1736 - 1795)
Carved with elaborate openwork butterfly handles suspending loose rings, the interior crisply carved in relief with a pair of carp swimming among aquatic weeds, the exterior carved with low relief lotus growing from water over the base, the stone of even pale celadon tone with a skilfully-used snowy inclusion on the underside
10 in. (26 cm.) wide.
