A fine Steiff centre-seam teddy bear
with cinnamon mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump, part soft-stuffing and blank button in ear, circa 1905/6 --19½in. (50cm.) high (repair to left pad and side squeaker in operative)
Previously sold in these rooms as lot 206 on the 6th December 1993.
