A FINELY CARVED THREE-COLOR LACQUER RUYI SCEPTER
18TH CENTURY
The ruyi-shaped head is carved with Shoulao beside an attendant and a deer, the top of the shaft with shaped panels enclosing various blossoming branches, and the reverse with scroll borders and a knotted cord in the center, all on a wan-diaper ground.
