Designed with a variety of insects, vegetables and grasses in gold, black, red and silver takamaki-e and mother-of-pearl inlay on a gold ground of gyobu and hirame, the interior cases also gold applied with hirame; fitted with a bead ojime inlaid in horn, coral, mother-of-pearl and ivory with precious emblems and with a wood netsuke carved as a chrysanthemum blossom
