A FLEMISH TAPESTRY BORDER FRAGMENT
Late 17th early 18th Century
Woven in wools, depicting a floral column with strapwork C-scrolls and vases of flowers within, to the top with an umbrella within a shield-shaped scroll, within a yellow and later blue out slip, reduced in height, areas of reweaving and patching, horizontally cut and re-attached to the centre
7 ft. 11 in. x 10 in. (241 cm. x 26 cm.)
