A FOUR-CASE LACQUER INRO edo period (19th century), signed kajikawa and nobukatsu Of rounded rectangular shape decorated on each side with a falcon on a stand reserved within an inlaid shaped silver frame, the falcons inlaid in soft metal on a kinji ground embellished with hirame, the perches gold takamaki-e, the sides, top and bottom okibirame, interior cases nashiji, signed on the bottom in gold lacquer; fitted with a cylindrical filigree metal ojime and an ivory netsuke carved in the form of a tiger--3½in.
