    The cannelee case with engine-turned panels to the sides inset with painted oval enamel panels depicting lovers in pastoral landscapes, with conforming mask to the recessed dial with plain white enamel Roman chapter ring and centre painted with pensive maiden, further oval vignette below depicting a swain offering a bouquet of flowers to his lover, silvered lever platform to bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to backplate stamped 2; case re-gilt
