    mark of Gabriel-Raoul Morel, Paris, 1819-1838
    Acorn-shaped, the body and cover with slightly swirling panels of floral and ivy sprays in alternating colours of pink, green, blue and white, with borders of ivy and berries, on a turquoise ground, suspended from the cover by a link chain to a plain gold ring, the grille a pattern of diaperwork rosettes, marked inside cover, on side, and side of grille
