circular translucent brown agate box with parcel-enamelled gold mounts decorated with pink and white blue and white flowers and animals and richly chased with c-scrolls on a frosted ground, a gold twist simulating a suspended chain at the front of the base of the box, the raised thumbpiece chased with fluted scrolls
