of rectangular form, the cover plain within a foliate border, the grille stamped and pierced with flowerheads and foliage, John Shaw, Birmingham, 1807 - 4.2 cms; a Victorian gilt-lined vinaigrette, the base and cover decorated with strapwork, the grille stamped and pierced with scrollwork, Thomas Johnson, London, 1862 - 4 cms; and a George III silver-gilt vinaigrette, the base, sides and cover decorated with a basketweave effect, the grille cast and pierced to resemble filigree, Matthew Linwood, Birmingham, 1811 - 3 cms.
