MARK OF GEORGE WEST, DUBLIN, 1793,
Navette-shaped with reeded rim & handle, sides engraved with foliate swags & two navette cartouches below a band of fluted semi-circular motifs, one side crested, the other with initials GR", on navette-shaped pedestal foot with border of zig-zag decoration, 7½ in. high (19 cm.) to top of handle, 7.75 oz.
