A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BOWFRONT SIDEBOARD Late 18th century The rectangular top with recessed quadrant front corners inlaid with boxwood lines, with brass gallery to the rear edge centred by a shaft with two candle-holders, above a panelled frieze drawer centred by a quarter-veneered panel with a lozenge, flanked by curved doors inlaid with ovals, on the left a door enclosing a drawer and on the right a swing-out bottle drawer, on square tapering legs headed by spandrels, on block feet, the handles replaced, inscribed in chalk on the reverse '82', with Worcester depository label printed 'MR R. A. LECHMERE P.W.O.C.' 36½ in. (92.5 cm.) high; 90 in. (230 cm.) wide; 32 in. (81.5 cm.) deep
