The rectangular blind-arcaded cornice and Gothic-fret frieze surmounted by a triangular open pediment, centred by an urn-finial above a pair of panelled doors enclosing four slides and a secretaire-drawer with pigeon-holes and drawers, the base with two short and two long drawers, on shaped bracket feet, the handles replaced, the underside of the upper section and top of the base section with shipping or delivery labels inscribed in an 18th century hand '... Kendal'
