    A George III oak thirty-hour longcase clock, third quarter 18th century
    The case with stepped and moulded flat top hood above a blind fret front panel, pilasters to the front and glazed panels to the sides, the rectangular trunk door with moulded frame (section lacking), on raised plinth (splits to front), the 10½in. brass dial with mask and foliate spandrels (one detached), to a brass chapter ring, foliate scroll engraved centre with signature plaque Jno. Lakeman EXON, with cut steel hands (later black painted and restored), the posted frame movement with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell; dial and movement possibly associated to case -- 79¼in. (201cm.) high

On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
