A GEORGE V SILVER-GILT COVERED CUP,
Mark of BMCo, Birmingham, 1932,
in the Renaissance taste, shaped circular on conforming foot, the foot chased with masks, knopped stem rising to body engraved with stylised scrolls in triangular facets with putti heads at points, the lobed cover with openwork finial, marked at rim and under cover.
11¼in. (28.5cm.) high; weighted.
